Active smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke and their relationship to depressive symptoms in the Korea national health and nutrition examination survey (KNHANES)

摘要: The relationship between tobacco smoking, including secondhand and depression has been assessed. purpose of this study was to evaluate the association smoking among current, former never smokers depressive symptoms. For gender differences sources exposure were examined. Data from 34,693 participants fourth fifth Korean Health Nutritional Examination Survey (2007–2012) analyzed in 2014. Self-reported active (current, or never) symptoms experienced during past year using logistic regression. dose–response duration smoke assessed with stratification by (at home only, at workplace only both). Regardless their status, all women who had reported more than non-smoking without any cigarette (OR 1.43, 95 % CI 1.04–1.96 for current smokers; OR 2.32, 1.04–5.16 1.25, 1.08–1.43 smokers). There also a significant pattern (p-trend <0.001) women. No found men. Secondhand associated manner.
