摘要: Nine patients with anatomically documented vegetations on one or more cusps of the aortic valve had echocardiograms in which abnormal echoes were associated leaflet echoes. The motion during systole correlated well anatomic location vegetations: a vegetation right coronary cusp moved anteriorly while noncoronary posteriorly systole. Our data, although inconclusive, suggest that from left maintain mid-aortic position throughout cardiac cycle. echocardiographic appearance is not specific, but setting septicemia, dense mobile region are strongly suggestive vegetation. A normal does exclude possibility present, especially if growth less than 5 mm size.
