摘要: We studied the association between morbidity and personal lifestyle/behavioural factors that predispose to exposure known environmental precipit-ants of asthma, in a group asthmatics ( n = 787 ) primary-care clinics. Clinical severity asthma was determined by questions regarding frequency daytime or nocturnal attacks, number visits primary care hospital emergency departments for treatment acute hospitalizations, as well amount sick leave past year. Questions concerning risk included ethnicity, clinical atopic status (current rhinitis/eczema), smoking, occupation, keeping pets, rugs carpets, use brooms, burning mosquito coils incense, outdoor air pollution, patient's knowledge care. The most significant independent predictors morbidity, identified from multi-variate logistic regression analyses, were current either pets rugs/carpets (OR 1.49; 95% Cl 1.12–1.99), high-risk occupations 0.59, 0.40–0.89). A multiplicity interacting behavioural responses appear influence effects allergens other precipitants on patients.
