摘要: The spectrum of the far-field displacement radiation from a conventional fault model has been calculated for comparison with recent Brune model. spectrums are generally similar, but some details attributed to different effects in two models. For example, where decays as ω−1 at intermediate frequencies, effect is partial stress drop by theory rupture surface shape (width very much less than length) theory. Both theories yield an inverse proportionality between dimensions and corner frequency spectrum. constants similar.
