摘要: Summary Between December 1992 and April 1993, Newcastle disease (ND) outbreaks occurred in a broiler flock, layer village chickens of two prefectures five pigeon lofts the South Marmara Region Turkey. Four viruses from pigeons were isolated these outbreaks, identified as (NDV). All characterized velogenic strains based on their mean death time eggs, ability to form plaques tissue culture and, for some isolates, intracerebral pathogenicity index intravenous tests. Monoclonal antibody typing showed that eight nine isolates indistinguishable each other.
