摘要: Newcastle disease (ND), caused by avian paramyxovirus type 1, is a highly contagious and devastating viral of poultry worldwide distribution with an enormous economic impact. In this study, the sequences matrix protein (M) gene three ND virus strains isolated from outbreak in chickens farms Iran 2011–2012 were determined. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that both clustered class II viruses, one phylogenetically close to genotype VIIb viruses other closer VIId. This finding essential for improving control strategies development vaccines ND. The study results thus emphasize importance continuous surveillance sharing information global scientific community, which would help fill epidemiological gaps regions validate robustness diagnostic screening.
