摘要: We measured Faraday rotation in three-dimensional photonic colloidal crystals impregnated with a active, transparent liquid. The effect was found to strongly increase inside the stop band, whereas outside it follows normal spectral behavior of paramagnetic dielectric an effective Verdet constant equal product liquid’s and its filling fraction.
