摘要: Measurements have been made of the magneto-optical rotation at visible wavelengths following optical materials: Dynasil 1001 fused silica, Schott BK-7 borosilicate glass and undoped YAG crystal. A pulsed magnetic field about 7.0 T was used. The crystal shown to be a good alternative material for constructing isolator, with figure merit M as high 58.5 rad T-1 632.8 nm. From author's data they calculated average anomaly factor gamma each sample, well energy gap Eg disorder parameter z by using BHL, KLN MS formulae. low value found three samples, indicating that interband transitions involved in Faraday these materials are predominantly direct. authors also their samples through use respective dispersion data. Good agreement between values different methods is observed.
