The Verdet constant of Er-doped crystalline YAG and tellurite glass at 1645 nm

摘要: We describe the measurement of Verdet constant undoped and Er-doped crystalline YAG tellurite glass at 1645 nm. The value is compared to those measured using visible light. show that paramagnetic nature Er reduces but decrease probably not significant for typical doping levels used in Er:YAG or Er:tellurite-glass mid-IR lasers.
