摘要: This study examined gender differences in eating attitudes and behaviors a sample of 471 undergraduate college students. The prevalence symptomatology indicative anorexia was determined using the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26). In addition, family climate, parent-child dynamics, self-concept students with without maladaptive were compared, relationship between attitudes/behaviors current psychological distress examined. Anorexic found for 20% females 10% males. general, symptomatic had more positive reported less than did those disturbances. findings suggest that problems may be prevalent among males previously estimated.
