The Catalonia survey: Personality and intelligence structure in a sample of compulsive gamblers

摘要: A sample of fifty-seven pathological gamblers and one hundred fifteen controls (two per gambler, matched as regards age sex) was investigated. This received a complex battery psychometric tests designed to evaluate two different axes: psychopathology intelligence. The results obtained show that have an unstable family work background, gambling correlates with other addictions (alcohol, illness prone behavior, absenteeism, risk working, living alone bereavement), all the general specific vectors were significant in addicts, gamblers' intelligence has characteristic factors.
