摘要: The effect of pregnancy on arterial sensitivity to vasoconstrictors is controversial. Some the controversy may reflect methodologic differences. Vessel reactivity in vitro altered by both tension placed segment and presence or absence functional endothelium. We investigated guinea pig uterine carotid arteries norepinephrine, epinephrine, phenylephrine. Each vessel was stretched optimal point along its length-tension curve, endothelium documented acetylcholine-stimulated relaxation.
