摘要: Introduction: Polycomb group proteins are major epigenetic regulators that modify histone tails. They organized in two multi-protein complexes called polycomb repressive complex (PRC) 1 and 2. Aberrant PRC activity is known to contribute the development aggressiveness of many cancers. Biliary tract cancer (BTC) a rare malignancy associated with high chemoresistance poor clinical outcome. Here we review role effects RNAi drug-mediated inhibition PRC1 PRC2 BTC.Areas covered: This gives short overview composition, biochemical functions oncogenic complexes. We then focus on summarize results current studies address BTC. Finally, discuss options therapeutic targeting BTC.Expert opinion: Pharmacological seems be promising strategy for treatment To date, only few have addressed ef...
