摘要: A base station for use in a wireless network that communicates with mobile stations. The comprises: 1) transceiver transmitting forward channel data to first via beam-forming antenna array; and 2) circuit maximizing throughput the by jointly optimizing i) selection of beam station, ii) level Walsh code multiplexing data, iii) modulation scheme used transmit data.
