摘要: A method and apparatus for analyzing ions by determining times of flight include establishing an encoded sequence launching packets from a source region toward detector. The is one in which the high-mass leading packet will be passed low-mass trailing packet. Thus, high efficiency time-of-flight mass spectrometer formed. each are acted upon to bunch packet, thereby compensating initial space and/or velocity distributions arrival determined at detector obtain signal overlapping spectra corresponding launched packets. correlation between launch employed derive single non-overlapped spectrum.
