摘要: Summary Normal and Simian virus 40-transformed cells were treated with benzaldehyde which has been found in figs as a potent carcinostatic element. Benzaldehyde notably inhibited the growth of transformed when cultivated presence 25 μg/ml benzaldehyde. No significant effect was observed at this concentration on normal cells. In 50 completely inhibited. The inhibition by reversible resumed after removal chemical from media. A labeling experiment [ 14 C]-benzaldehyde indicated that reaction cellular proteins limited mainly to exposed membrane proteins.
