摘要: Purpose To evaluate the natural course of idiopathic vitreomacular traction (VMT) with spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SDOCT) from adhesion (VMA) stage to spontaneous resolution VMT. Design Prospective observational case series. Methods We studied VMT in 46 eyes (46 patients), divided into those that proceeded (12 cases) and remained at (34 cases). All patients were examined SDOCT regular 3-month intervals. recorded angle VMA nasally temporally, horizontal diameter VMA, macular thickness, visual acuity, photoreceptor layer, external limiting membrane. Results In 12 resolution, vitreous had a mean increase 38 degrees VMT, compared stage. 34 stage, increased by only 1 degree throughout follow-up. all patients, was significantly associated (nasally P  = .001, temporally 400 μm Conclusions Spontaneous is negatively diameter. The strength exerted on fovea seems be positively related size angle.
