摘要: Purpose To study the prognostic factors that influence best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) outcome in patients with secondary epiretinal membrane (ERM) after retinal detachment surgery. Design Retrospective case series. Methods Forty-two ERM were divided into macula-on and macula-off groups based on macular status before surgery studied using same spectral-domain optical coherence tomography device. Several variables, including integrity of external limiting (ELM), photoreceptor inner segment/outer segment (IS/OS) junction line, central foveal thickness evaluated 17 treated 25 untreated patients. Linear regression analysis was used to determine best combination all variables affecting BCVA. Results Final BCVA significantly better eyes intact ELMs IS/OS lines (0.35 ± 0.18 logarithm minimal angle resolution [logMAR] 0.51 0.17 logMAR, respectively) than disrupted or absent (0.83 logMAR 1.04 0.05 respectively; P = .05, t test). ELM line main final (β 0.42; .006, linear analysis). Disruption observed 21 42 cases studied. Conclusions is accompanied by a high incidence (50%) disruption. Among studied, condition layer are predict peeling.
