摘要: PURPOSE To study the evolution of idiopathic epiretinal membrane (IERM) as examined by optical coherence tomography (OCT) in 1-mm-diameter circle centered on fovea. METHODS In a case series 71 subjects (71 eyes) with and macular thickness greater than 220-/+10 micro m were evaluated OCT. The fellow healthy eye 52 patients was used control group. mean follow-up 36 months. Measurements at baseline final examination performed. Best-corrected visual acuity expressed number letters read Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study chart. RESULTS Within inner central 1 mm diameter fovea increased an average 12.29% (p<0.001) during group while foveal decreased -0.44% (p=0.43). increase accompanied modest decrease best-corrected from 43.26 to 39.20 last (p<0.001). CONCLUSIONS period between 12.29%. Decrease not observed any studied cases. 9.4%. OCT also depicted accuracy changing morphology affected macula period.
