摘要: Spouse abuse remains an important social problem. Recent research has begun to explore resiliency in a variety of areas: Why, despite harsh life circumstances, do some people survive and later thrive after experiencing trauma? What are the processes associated with successful departure from abuse? The authors worked local shelter identify three groups women: (a) those currently at shelter; (b) who had been away abusive relationship for least one year; (c) were identified by staff as having demonstrated resilient response battering, compared experiences recommendations between discuss clinical service implications.
