摘要: Introduction. Statins are lipid lowering agents extensively used in human clinical medical. They exert their effects through inhibition of HMG-CoA reductase, a crucial enzyme cholesterol synthesis. Since is the precursor steroid hormones, drugs that decrease may damage male reproductive function. Aim. Investigate exposure to different doses simvastatin on parameters adult Wistar rats. Methods. Thirty rats were randomly assigned into three groups: (20 or 40 mg/kg), control (vehicle DMSO/oil), and treated for 30 days orally evaluation after euthanasia. Main Outcome Measure.
