ACIS 2007 panel report: lack of relevance in IS research

摘要: Relevance of IS research to practitioners has been one the most fervently debated meta discussions in discipline. To address concern lack relevance, an relevance index was suggested 2005 and used exploratory study using two years conference review data. This paper reports on a 2007 panel presented at Australasian Conference Information Systems, which explored idea this discussed openly issue conducting, evaluating presenting research. first introduces debate concept index. Next, viewpoints individual members are finally subsequent discussion is summarized.
