摘要: Abstract Mechanical extraction is considered to be the best option for oil expression of Jatropha curcas in rural areas. Lab scale hydraulic pressing experiments were conducted investigate effect process parameters on recovery from kernel. The ranges investigated were: compression speed, 0.05–2.5 MPa/s; applied pressure, 5–25 MPa; moisture content, 1–6%; temperature, 25–105 °C; time, 1–30 min; shell removal, 0–100%; preheating 0–30 min; and particle size, fine, coarse whole Chemical analyses such as acid value, phosphorus oxidative stability index water content carried out determine quality oil. Moisture was found influence at any pressure rates. Oil increased some extent with an increase temperature or time. preferred about 4% (w.b.). presence size reduction kernel reduce recovery. optimum respect time obtained when pressed 15 MPa, 90 °C, (w.b.) 10 min pressing. these processing conditions 86.1%.
