摘要: Progesterone (PGT) is a natural hormone that stimulates and regulates various important functions, such as the preparation of female body for conception pregnancy. Due to its low water solubility, it administered in micronized form and/or vehicles with specific solvents requirements. In order improve drug inclusion complexes PGT β-cyclodextrins were obtained by freeze-drying method. Two (native methylated) two (water water:ethanol) different molar ratio reagents variables tested selection best condition complexes. The PGT/randomly methylated-β-cyclodextrin incorporated into chitosan thermosensitive hydrogels, an alternative formulation vaginal administration PGT.
