摘要: In the Siena urban environment, unwashed Q. ilex leaves had a significantly higher Al, Ba, Cr, Fe, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, Ti, and V content than samples from neighbouring Mediterranean maquis. Significant relationships between element pairs indicated both presence of metals emitted by motor vehicles lithophilic elements, presumably soil particles, resuspended wind or turbulence generated traffic. order to minimize effects dust contamination seek clues metal sources, estimated substrate contribution was subtracted raw concentrations elements in leaves. Normalization for local composition confirmed that automotive emissions are principal source pollution Siena. On basis very significant relationship normalized Pb Ba latter diesel unleaded gasoline, recognized as valuable tracer vehicle emissions, place Pb.
