摘要: The aim of this work was to evaluate antimony (Sb) as apotentially valuable tracer the anthropogenic impact on soilsand estuarine sediments. Antimony determined in fifteenroadsoils from a medium-size city, La Coruna (NW Spain);and twelve sediments two estuaries (La and Ares-Betanzos). Sb determination accomplished rapid andreliable way by directly measuring solid samples with anautomatic ultrasonic slurry sampling-ETAAS device. Soil contentsranged 0.29 8.81 μg g-1. A relation between Sbconcentration motor vehicle intensity observed.Regarding sediments, amounted 0.22 1.51 g-1, for estuary 0.24 0.71 forthe Ares-Betanzos estuary; higher values were found forcoastal locations whereas lower contents corresponded `inner'samples. In order confirm these findings, other pollutantswere studied: As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, aliphatichydrocarbons (AH) polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH).These values, along ones, subjected tomultivariate studies intended elucidate whether correlated(and what extent) well-known pollutants. Thus, became associated Pb Zn road soils PAH, unresolved hydrocarbons,
