摘要: A real time quantitative PCR combined with propidium monoazide (PMA) treatment of samples was implemented to quantify live C. jejuni, coli and lari on broiler chicken carcasses at selected processing steps in the slaughterhouse. The were enumerated by culture for comparison. Campylobacter counts determined PMA-qPCR method not concordant. We conclude that qPCR PMA did fully reduce signal from dead cells.
