摘要: Abstract The room temperature emission spectrum at about 2.7 μm corresponding to the laser transition 4I11/2 → 4I13/2 in Er3+-doped nano-scaled transparent oxyfluoride glass–ceramic has been measured and stimulated cross-section for calculated. intensity of found be 40 times stronger lifetime 50 longer glass–ceramics compared precursor glass, which we show due a change frequency phonon involved non-radiative de-excitation 4I11/2 level from 900 cm−1 glass 240 cm−1 ensuing glass–ceramics. absorption excited state 4I13/2 → 4I11/2 calculated based on experimental reciprocal wavelength dependence gain lasing vs population inversion derived. lasing/optical amplification parameters, such as inversion, pump saturation product fluorescence have obtained wavelength. A noteworthy result is that action possible these glass–ceramics, already not taking into account energy transfer or up-conversion processes, related 4I13/2 level, favour inversion.
