摘要: Introduction Fixational saccades are miniature eye movements that constantly change the gaze during attempted visual fixation. Visually guided and fixational represent an oculomotor continuum produced by common neural machinery. Patients with strabismus have disconjugate binocular horizontal saccades. We examined stability variability of position fixation in patients correlated severity instability angle vision. Methods Eye were measured 13 16 controls visually under monocular viewing conditions. intersaccadic drifts analysed non-viewing controls. Results found increase compared also disconjugacy intrasaccadic ocular drift The was worse large-angle absent stereopsis. There variance strabismus. Our findings suggest both abnormal likely contribute to Discussion could be a useful tool for mass screenings children diagnose absence amblyopia latent nystagmus. increased reflects disruption fine-tuning motor systems responsible achieving fusion these patients.
