摘要: Abstract Blended elemental Ti-24at.%Al-11at.%Nb and Ti-55at.%Al powders were mechanically alloyed to a B2/bcc an amorphous phase, respectively. The grain size of the was about 20 nm. Hot isostatic pressing these at 975°C resulted in fully dense compacts, transformed mixture orthorhombic phases while crystallized into Ti3Al TiAl phases. HIP ed compacts had average approximately 125 nm for phase 260 Ti-24at%Al-11at%Nb, 85 220 Ti-55at%Al. This work demonstrates that near-nanostructured grains are preserved alloys even after processing relatively high temperature.
