X-ray powder profile analyses on nanostructured niobium metal powders

摘要: Abstract Pure niobium powder was milled in a SPEX 8000 mill using hardened steel balls for 1 to 6 h. The X-ray diffraction peaks were analyzed the Fourier Line Shape and Integral Breadth analysis techniques. crystallite size decreased 2.3 nm after h of milling high degree isotropy observed both effective crystal microstrains. This behavior is significantly different from bulk Nb metal, which anisotropic.
