摘要: To assess racial differences in health care utilization for coronary artery disease (CAD) the data of National Hospital Discharge Survey (NHDS) from 1979-84 were examined. rates acute myocardial infarction (AMI) utilized as a measure hospital-based incidence and relative need designated cardiac procedures. Although 35-74 year old Black men had discharge AMI that 77 per cent those observed White men, they underwent arteriography half often only third likely to have bypass graft (CABG) surgery. women this age range hospitalized at slightly higher rate than AMI, yet experienced 19 lower 52 CABG These suggest bias pattern delivered CAD US hospitals present time.
