摘要: The dilatometric thermal expansion of a tantalum monocarbide rod was measured from 21° to 3020°C in 20 psig argon atmosphere using split‐beam optical comparator. linear 20° 3000°C found be 2.5%, which corresponds an average coefficient 8.4×10−6 per C°. No evidence high‐temperature phase change found.
