Thermal expansion, Debye temperature and Gruneisen constant of carbides and nitrides

摘要: Abstract The experimental data on the thermal expansion of carbides and nitrides early transition metals (with B 1 structure) have been collected evaluated, average curves α against temperature composition determined. Some difficulties encountered in making good measurements peculiar to this class compounds are briefly discussed. resultant values α, together with specific heat elastic constants, used determine dependence Debye Gruneisen constant.
