摘要: Five patients were admitted to our hospital because of classical heat stroke during the waves which attacked country in summers 1994 and 1995. The clinical laboratory findings all suggested rapid progress multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS). Blood purification (BP) therapy, addition conventional treatment, was performed three patients. Despite their disastrous general condition, completely recovered or sufficiently be transferred a rehabilitation hospital. Two additional treated with treatment only both died 1–3 days after admission.Clinical characteristics on admission showed no differences between cases receiving BP therapy those not therapy. These suggest that, patients, may provide better prognosis than only. beneficial effects have been due mainly removal proinflammatory cytokines related stroke.
