摘要: Setting: The University of Washington Health Sciences Libraries and Information Center BioCommons serves the bioinformatics needs researchers at university in vibrant for-profit not-for-profit biomedical research sector area region. Program Components: comprises services addressing internal Washington, not-for-profit, for-profit, regional global clientele. is maintained administered by BioResearcher Liaison Team. architecture provides a highly flexible structure for adapting to rapidly changing resources needs. Evaluation Mechanisms: uses Web-based pre- post-course evaluations periodic user surveys assess service effectiveness. Recent indicate substantial usage high level effectiveness satisfaction. Next Steps/Future Directions: developing novel collaborative Web distribute tools experimenting with competency training bioinformation resource use.
