摘要: As biomedical research and healthcare continue to progress in the genomic/post genomic era a number of important challenges opportunities exist broad area informatics. In context this chapter we define bioinformatics as field that focuses on information, data, knowledge biological research. The key essentially all relate current flood raw aggregate evolving arising from study genome its manifestation. first briefly review source data. We then provide some informatics frameworks for organizing thinking about bioinformatics. use one framework illustrate specific perspective. contrast also an alternate perspective point view. Both perspectives are illustrated with case studies related identifying addressing real world.
