摘要: Emulsion polymerization of ethyl acrylate has been carried out in the presence two kinds silica, either functionalized by treatment with methacryloylpropyltrimethoxysilane, or not. Both and grafting kinetics were followed. A part polymer is covalently grafted onto silica only if latter process takes place at beginning process. The tightly linked to surface as a succession small-sized loops. High-molecular-weight non-grafted also produced compressed conformation, its radius gyration being much larger than thickness layer encapsulating silica.
