摘要: A proportion of T cells recirculate in a tissue-selective manner. Recent studies which showed that the skin-tropic subset was memory/activated type, led us to examine whether preferential homing gut also involved memory cells, and if so these were phenotypically distinct from other cells. Lymphocytes migrating through skin sheep collected by cannulating lymphatic ducts draining tissues. Both naive found gut, although only migrated skin. However, when labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate assessed for their migration back it population tropism gut. Gut-tropic poorly skin, indicating This confirmed phenotypic analysis. Gut expressed very low levels α6 β1 integrins, contrast high levels. There no evidence heterogeneity within cell population, preferentially lymph nodes. pattern could be explained part expression L-selectin (lymph node receptor, LAM-1) on or mostly negative. These results indicate subsets α/β show patterns, probably develop particular environment following encounter antigen.
