摘要: One of the most challenging steps in biological atomic force microscopy (AFM) is to find conditions under which sample will adsorb a substrate. Here we show that common constituent buffers, monovalent cations, can inhibit adsorption number different proteins onto one best substrates for AFM, muscovite mica. The potency series cations prevent same every protein, K+ > Na+ Li+, and, each case, this inhibition could be overcome by increasing concentration proteins. These results thus suggest reducing extent using lower concentrations salt, higher proteins, or Li+ place and may generally useful procedures maximize amount protein on
