摘要: We have studied transcription of the dihydrofolate reductase gene as cells progress through cell cycle. used techniques DNA-excess filter hybridization and in vivo pulse labeling a synchronous population to measure rate different phases Our results indicate that is cycle regulated at transcriptional level. The low G1, increases 7-fold beginning S phase, decreases almost immediately thereafter, remains throughout remainder into G2. This regulation seen G1 phase transition achieved by increasing from single promoter region. fact this region similar regions other housekeeping genes suggests type may not be unique reductase.
