摘要: Abstract Arc plasma evaporation of carbon electrodes doped with various catalysts is one the most effective methods single-walled nanotube fabrication. It was found that reaction yield strongly influenced not only by appropriate choice catalyst(s), but also type material used for electrode Several different powders i.e. graphite powders, glassy and coke, have been tested in order to establish which parameters (primary particle size, granulation, density or conductivity electrode) affected outcome most. The highest nanotubes anodes fabricated from whilst made coke yielded significantly smaller amounts nanotubes. zone where radicals nucleate (close arc gap) probed optical absorption spectroscopy. estimated temperature distributions contents C 2 did depend on anode characteristics.
