摘要: High-yield single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) have been mass-produced by dc arc discharge evaporation of a electrode including 1 at.% Fe catalyst in hydrogen mixed gas [i.e., H2–inert (Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe), or H2–N2]. The as-grown SWNTs high-crystallinity due to the high temperature plasma, and coexisting nanoparticles are embedded very thin amorphous because situ etching effects hydrogen. A macroscale purification technique, which is whole liquid-phase process, first reflux treatment H2O2 solution then rinsing with hydrochloric acid, has developed eliminate obtain purity higher than 90 at.%.
