摘要: A novel virus with distinct genome features was discovered by high throughput sequencing in a symptomatic blackcurrant plant. The virus, tentatively named Ribes americanum (RAVA), has organization and molecular bridging genera the order Tymovirales. consists of 7106 nucleotides excluding poly(A) tail. Five open reading frames were identified, first encoding putative viral replicase methyl transferase (MTR), AlkB, helicase, RNA dependent polymerase (RdRp) domains. downstream resembles that members Tymovirales an unconventional triple gene block (TGB) movement protein arrangement none other four proteins exhibiting significant homology to proteins. Phylogenetic analysis using conserved motifs loosely placed RAVA within Betaflexiviridae. Data strongly suggest is should be classified as species new genus Betaflexiviridae or family
