摘要: Phthalonitrile resins with many striking properties have drawn much attention as potential candidates for use in composite matrices, adhesives, films, and electrical conductors the last 30 years. However, it is common shortcomings phthalonitrile monomers to high-temperature melting point need extreme conditions develop binary phthalonitrile/additives composition. Here, three kinds of self-catalyzed compounds low were synthesized, whose structures characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy nuclear magnetic resonance. The different cure behaviors, owing positions catalyzed group on benzene ring, investigated differential scanning calorimetry, kinetics parameters also calculated. results showed that meta para position possessed better reactivity. Melt-processability study a rheometer indicated ortho one owned largest processing window. Furthermore, FTIR spectra demonstrated cured contained same structure conventional system. All had excellent thermal stability according thermogravimetric analysis. Mechanical property was determined dynamic mechanical analysis, glass transition temperature (represented peak tanδ) high up 550°C all monomers. Consequently, these autocatalytic may be good matrix high-performance polymeric materials. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
