摘要: The retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) is derived from neuroepithelium. At approximately the fifth week of gestation primary optic vesicle invaginates to form cup. inner layer gives rise retina, non-pigmented ciliary epithelium, and iris epithelium. pigmented muscles, are outer layer. first tissue body become pigmented, at about fourth gestation1.
