摘要: Abstract: Extracellular matrix (ECM) is an essential component of every tissue in our bodies, but it has been relatively misunderstood for decades. More recently, knowledge regarding the role ECM biology and medicine significantly expanded, its study greatly added to world regenerative a real practical sense. This chapter seeks address concepts situ engineering through provision as scaffold regrowth functional tissue. Whether harvesting decellularizing from source or building de novo, many variables encountered processing affect physicochemical aspects material, results achieved after vivo implantation, resulting clinical utility implants made such materials. Furthermore, even most robust materials are affected by procedural patient-related that together outcomes reconstructions with ECM. Advanced biomaterials consist, either wholly partially, ECMs can form basis therapeutic modalities, must play defining procedures patients will best benefit these future.
