摘要: Micron-scale monodisperse oil-in-water (O/W) micropheres (MS) were prepared using a novel microchannel (MC) emulsification technique. The characteristics of the MS preparation and O/W-MS studied. Soybean oil medium-chain triacyglycerol (MCT) used as disprrsed phase, physiological saline was continuous phase. Silicon MC with 1 to 3μm-equivalent channel diameters employed. A module devised easily recover prepared. effects shape on behavior formation, size, distribution investigated. An terrace at outlet stably yielded micron-scale O/W-MS; had about 5 μm, their coefficients variation below 9%. Monodisperse food-grade 4 μm could be obtained by polyglycerol fatty acid ester surfactant. size recovered remained almost constant over 60 d, demonstrating long-term stability.
