摘要: The last decade provided the plant science community with complete genome sequence of Arabidopsis thaliana and rice, tools to investigate function potentially every gene, methods dissect virtually any aspect life cycle, a wealth information on gene expression protein function. Focusing as model system has led an integration sciences that triggered development new technologies concepts benefiting research in general. These enormous changes unprecedented increase our understanding genetic basis molecular mechanisms developmental, physiological biochemical processes, some which will be discussed this article.
