摘要: Calciphylaxis is severe condition with 45–55 % mortality occurring in chronic dialysis patients. Sporadically, the disease may develop patients normal renal function, for example, presence of inflammation. Sodium thiosulfate (STS) therapy a treatment modality calciphylaxis, but mechanism its action unknown. We report four cases calciphylaxis treated STS, illustrating that therapeutic effect not associated decreased serum calcium or phosphorus concentration. Therapy intravenous STS was safe and led to subjective improvement, due pain reduction, lesions healing three In one patient, complications diabetes other co-morbidities unfavorable outcome. can be considered promising drug calciphylaxis.
